The read this morning

The machine is running, and the website is quietly the strongest channel. It booked 8 meetings in the last 7 days, and the pipeline is healthy. The cold campaign is the weak link: 1,702 emails over 28 days have produced a 1.6% reply rate and, more tellingly, no net-new interested replies yet. Everything coming back is either an out-of-office or a polite no. That "replies without interest" pattern points at list or offer fit, not deliverability or volume.

Bottom line — act today

Priorities
  1. Deliverability first. Three sending inboxes on the usemapmatix.com domain have warmup reputation sliding to 66–71%. Ease their volume into warmup-recovery before it drags the rest down.
  2. Six replies triaged, none interested. One "no", one unsubscribe (needs Do Not Contact), and four out-of-office. Three of those only received the opener and are clean-resume candidates once they are back.
  3. One call on the calendar today — MapMatix Kickoff Call at 12:00 PM MT. Be ready.

The strategic signal. Near-zero positive replies across 1,700 sends is the number that matters. The higher-leverage next move is a single-variable test on the list or the offer, rather than pushing more volume through a list that is not biting. Meanwhile the website is the quiet winner and deserves the cheapest wins on the board: wiring the contact-form lead event and driving any traffic at all to the Leak Scorecard.

Cold email

Smartlead · day 28

Campaign "5 Silent HubSpot Leaks", live since June 22. Open and click tracking are off by design, so reply rate and replies are the signal.

Inbox health — needs attention

3 of 10 sending inboxes are slipping on warmup reputation: matt@ (66%), matt.adams@ (68%), and matthew@ (71%) on the usemapmatix.com domain. Recommend easing their daily volume, or dropping them to warmup-only, until reputation climbs back above ~90%, and re-confirming SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on that domain.

Tally: 1 no, 1 unsubscribe, 4 out-of-office. One lead (Josh Hammell, Brisk Teaching) sits in the manual lane awaiting a reply and is never re-sequenced.

Website & meetings

GA4 · Calendly

Website figures are filtered to US visitors, which strips internal team and bot traffic so the numbers reflect the real target. Calendly stays unfiltered as the booking source of truth.

Cheapest win on the board

Meetings are tracked, but there is still no lead-capture event: the contact-form lead event is not wired, and the *.pages.dev assets are untracked. Wiring that event, and pointing any traffic at all to the Leak Scorecard (currently 0 real leads because nothing links to it), are the two lowest-effort improvements available.

A perfect rating with room to grow on discovery. Live auto-tracking is pending Google API approval; this is the latest manual snapshot.

Discovery is almost entirely branded. The top search term is "mapmatix" (64); non-branded terms like "automation" trail well behind. People who find the profile already know the name, so there is little local, non-branded discovery yet. Completing the profile (hours, services, photos, description) would help local ranking.

Recommended next steps

1Ease the 3 usemapmatix.com inboxes into warmup-recovery until reputation recovers above ~90%.
2Clear the 6 replies: tag Melissa (not interested), Raphael (do not contact + block list), and the four out-of-office, then log each decision.
3Decide the 3 clean-resume candidates — Sarah and Chris now, David after July 26.
4Run a single-variable campaign test on the list segment or offer framing, rather than adding volume to a list that is not converting.
5Wire the website lead event and drive first traffic to the Leak Scorecard to start capturing leads the site is not yet counting.
